When everyone was getting into “premium packaged lagers” from abroad, I wondered if there were countries where our own ubiquitous brew was considered exotic. A quick fax (yes, it was a while back) from the client revealed some interesting places and the finished script was on his desk that evening. A few short weeks later, we shot the commercial in one of the world’s most inspirational cities. Fortunately the spike in sales was as high as the Tokyo Tower.
